Blackstar Cooperative Brewery
The Blackstar Co-op of Austin, TX was the first cooperatively structured and worker self-managed brewery in the world. They first organized and began member recruitment drives in 2006, and opened their doors to the public in 2010. Today they have over 3,200 members and counting. Their business model and grassroots efforts have been emulated by Co-op Breweries around the country.

Flying Bike Cooperative Brewery
The Flying Bike Cooperative of Seattle, WA opened its doors in August 2015. Their membership drive started in 2011, and they currently have over 1,600 members.

Fifth Street Brewpub of Dayton, OH began their membership drive in 2012. Two years later, they were brewing beer for their members and the local community. Fifth street boasts of having the “fastest growing cooperative brewery in the nation”, and currently have over 2,700 member-owners.

Fair State Brewing Co-op
Fair State Brewing Cooperative, of Minneapolis, is the first Co-op brewery in Minnesota. Started by three college buddies, it launched in 2014 and its motto is “Drink like you own the place.”
