A Brewery Incubator
The Barley Grail supports home-brewers who someday dream of owning their own craft brewery. Members can learn how to brew on a larger system, learn about equipment, perfect their recipes, and build their brand without investing all of their own resources.
Every member owns a part of the Barley Grail and has a voting share- it's the cooperative way. An elected Board of Directors from the Member Base oversees the workers assembly. The consensus of the Members will shape the brewery.
What beer is brewed, what beer stays, what beer goes- all decided upon by the members. You can brew the beer that flows out of a Barley Grail tap. If you don't know how to brew beer, you can learn to brew beer. If you don't want to brew, you taste and decide what stay and goes. This method of general consensus will ensure new beers are always rotating in and that they will be good.
Barley Grail also exists as a means for groups to raise money and awareness to support their charitable cause. Whether that be scholarships for special needs students, assisting military veterans, or funding missionary trips, the Barley Grail seeks to build perpetual revenue streams to fund charitable pursuits . Most people like beer, and most people like helping out a worthy cause. We believe most people will like beer that helps a worthy cause.
Barley Grail exists to serve the interest of all its members.
- Barley Grail utilizes online member voting technology. All members will be able to vote on the decisions of the cooperative through the website, facebook, and email.
Board of Directors
- Each slot-owning organization will elect one of its members to serve on the board of directors for Barley Grail. While each slot operates independently, they are cooperating with the other slot owners under the Barley Grail Umbrella.
- In addition to the events, Barley Grail will host frequent cooperative meetings where members can voice their concerns, propose new ideas, or just stay involved.
